John Theuri succumbed to complications caused by pancreatic cancer.John worked for the Department of State as a Swahili language instructor in the state of Virginia.
He will be buried on Saturday June 26, 2010, in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, in the state of Virginia. Funeral Service will be in St. Louis Catholic Church near the cemetery (2907 Popkins Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306) at 10:30 a.m.Mr. Theuri is survived by his wife Cecilia Theuri, five children: James Theuri (Chicago), Migwi Theuri, Esther Theuri (Nairobi), Agatha Theuri (London), and Perpetua Theuri (Meru).
He had 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.The family appreciates all forms of support from family and friends. May God rest his soul in peace, and be with him till we meet again
